Johanna, Kyle, Tom and I decided that we needed to spend some quality time together. We decided that Vegas would be the perfect destination for quality time. This was my first trip to Vegas, and I had such a blast. Everything is so big and shiny there! Since it was my first trip, we did a lot of typical Vegas....spa day, buffet, fancy dinner, and of course, night club! Enjoy the pics below...
Prepping for this trip was the best...I shopped for a trashy dress, fake eyelashes, huge shoes, and fun jewelry! Yippee...I think Tom was a little scared when I came home with all my goodies...
We always take a muscle picture. I couldn't decided which one I liked the best so I posted both!
After a night of dancing, Johanna and Kyle fell asleep right away.
As Tom and I were walking out of the door, the doorman asked us if we'd like to take a limo to the airport. Since it was a slow weekend, the limo and the cabs were running at about the same price. We were like, "Yes, please!"
After the limo ride, I was feeling pretty good. I decided that one more try at the slot machine was a must, and I left Vegas a winner!
Conclusion: Vegas is ridiculous, and I want to go back.
Sorry it's been so long. Here are a bunch of random pics from over the holidays!
Our lil' Christmas tree
Usually Five Guys Burgers and Fries makes me a happy girl, but since Tom left me all alone for a few weeks in December....dinnertime was very lonely... :(
This year Momma Payawal decided that a creepy Santa Claus that dances and sings songs would be a great addition to Christmas.
Rose Bowl 2010
Johanna, Tom, Matt and I were very lucky and got to go to the Rose Bowl. Thanks to Kyle, our seats were fantastic! :)
Kaitlyn and I like to kick back after a good meal.
PLAY HARD Portland's Holiday Ale Festival ( http://holidayale.com/index.php ) was a blast this year. There were a lot of beers to taste, but I think the favorite of the night was the Scaldis Noel (abv 13%). :)
Bob had to show his Ohio State University socks to all of the Oregonians.
Pretzel necklace time! Loi-Babe couldn't resist buying one of these tasty and stylish treats.
Kaede and Lois= BFF :)
We all had a great time hanging out and tasting a few beers. I hope Bob and Lois come out again next year. :)
WORK HARD Bob and Lois came to visit us this past weekend. Bob has been pretty pumped for this trip because he loves house projects and we have quite a few here. The first project was fixing our lovely back patio/sunroom. The floor was a hideous green and it smelled like wet dog (the previous owner had three dogs and this was the dog/exercise room). With a little hard work from Big Bob and Tom, the new floor turned out great and looks spectacular!
Next post: Play Hard....hehe! I know you can't wait to see the next pictures. :)
Sorry it's been awhile. Tom and I have been super busy with buying a house, filming with HGTV, and I finally got a job! We've been working on filling the house with lots of IKEA furniture, and it is now starting to feel like a home. :) Enjoy the pics!
This pic was from Halloween. HGTV was very kind to us and bought us a new TV. :)
Our house was kinda messy when I took these pictures, but atleast you get the idea what it looks like with our furniture. :)
In 2008, I made a big move to the Northwest. I've always enjoyed taking a lot of pictures, and it was my hubby who suggested to start a blog to keep in touch with family and friends back home. Therefore, Adrienne's Box of Chocolates was created. I hope you enjoy it. :)
